Unlike traditional mixed-media systems, our RC water softeners use an innovative split-tank design that keeps the premium softening resin and activated carbon separated by an internal plate. This allows each media to perform its specific job more effectively while avoiding the performance issues associated with mixed-bed systems.

Even better, Tabor Water Solutions utilizes a proprietary service tool that allows our technicians to remove and replace the softening resin located beneath the activated carbon without disturbing the carbon media. This exclusive capability makes future service more efficient, reduces maintenance complexity, and helps protect your investment for years to come.

Maintaining Peak Performance

Activated carbon naturally becomes exhausted over time as it removes chlorine, tastes, and odors from your water. To ensure your RC system continues performing at its best, we recommend replacing the activated carbon media every five years.

‍

Because activated carbon protects the softening resin from chlorine exposure, replacement of the carbon media every five years is required to maintain the resin warranty. All other applicable system warranty coverage remains unchanged.
