We are a Water Treatment company that primarily installs and services water softeners, conditioners, and reverse osmosis systems. This person must be well organized, professional, and flexible, while taking great pride in a job well done. Responsibilities:
- Drive a company truck to either service, repair, maintain or install Tabor Water residential and/or small business water treatment products in the field.
- Deliver salt and change filters.
- Accurately complete all service and installation work and paperwork on a daily basis.
- Reliable and on time for daily responsibilities.
- Responsible for providing excellent communication and customer service to our customers.
- Competently explain water treatment methods, testing, and solutions to customers.
- Follow good safety procedures when working with electricity, ladders, lifting, etc.
- Install, troubleshoot, and/or service water treatment equipment including: softeners, conditioners, filters, chlorination systems, reverse osmosis, and UV systems, etc.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on water treatment equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair control valves, pumps, flow switches and other water related devices, electro-mechanical and/or elect. controlled devices.
- Stage and execute installation and service jobs.
- Perform basic water testing on site.
- Pick up and deliver water samples per authorized procedures.
- Maintain awareness of materials and supplies.
- Communicate shortage of parts and supplies to supervisors/ordering personnel.
- Pick up supplies needed for jobs.
- Call supervisor with questions or for assistance in resolving problems encountered.
- Communicate with techs from suppliers and/or manufacturers when needed.
- Keep work area and truck neat, clean, and orderly.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous plumbing experience required, previous water treatment experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment including but not limited to: bending, twisting, reaching overhead, crawling, working in tight spaces, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 100 pounds.
- Must have an excellent driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old for insurance purposes.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings required.
- Good people skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must have or be willing to obtain plumbing apprentice credentials.
- Willingness to become a Water Quality Association (WQA) Certified Installer.
